Rick Johnston
- Inducted into the Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame, 2008
- Co-founder and Director of Baseball Operations at The Baseball Zone
- Coached Croatia at the European Olympic Qualifier, 2007, Barcelona, Spain
- VP and Director of Baseball, Brantford Red Sox, 2008 Champions
- Played in numerous international tournaments as a member of the Canadian National Team including the 1988 Seoul Olympics
- League award winner and record holding member of championship teams with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the Inter-County Baseball League
- Attended and excelled in baseball at Cuyahoga Community College in Ohio and at the University of British Columbia
- Field manager and hitting coach for various Team Canada and Team Ontario teams
- Coached and managed in Croatia and France, University of Toronto and Toronto Blue Jays' spring training camp
- Manager, Karlovac, European Champions, Croatian National Champions, 1997 and 1999
- Served as a scout for the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Devil Rays
- Managed for five years in the Inter-County Baseball League for Toronto and Brantford
- Named Manager of the Year three of those seasons and won a league championship in 2006
- Named Canadian Baseball Coach of the Year in 2005 by Baseball Canada
- Managed Ontario's entry to a Gold Medal in the 2005 Canada Summer Games in Regina
- Coach, Team Ontario Canada Summer Games, 2001, Silver Medal, London, Ontario
- Instructed for more than 16 years
- Among the many pupils of his programs are one of only six Canadians ever drafted in the first round of the MLB draft, as well as over 150 other professionals, draftees and players on college scholarship
- Rick is an OBA course clinician for Levels I, II & III and speaks regularly at clinics across Canada and the United States
