'Zone' alumnus and former Markham Mariner, Carson Kelly, rated #1 high school prospect in US for 2012 draft!

The Baseball Zone is very proud that one of its alumni, Carson Kelly, was recently named the #1 high school prospect in the United States for the 2012 draft by Baseball Factory. The 3B/P and former Markham Mariner came to Toronto with his family from the Chicago area back in 2005. He found his way to the 'Zone' along with his brother Parker and subsequently participated in both our Private Lesson Program and High Performance Programs.

It was easy to see that Carson was a talented athlete. However that does not wholly explain his success thus far in his young career. His special characteristic was, and assuredly continues to be, his work ethic and total love for - and commitment to - the game.

So Carson, a huge congratulations from all of us here at the 'Zone' and continued success for the future!
