Dear Baseball Zone friends,

From the moment Rick told me that he was opening an open indoor training facility I knew that he would be building something extraordinary.

I have known Rick for many years and I greatly admire both the knowledge and passion that he puts into teaching baseball. We were very lucky to have Rick coach our Croatian national team for two years. Our players greatly benefited from his presence and he enabled our team to move into the A Pool of European baseball.

Last year I sent 2 of my player/coaches to the Zone to learn something that we can use here in Croatia. When they came back they told me that the Zone is the best facility they have seen and that the personnel were incredible.

This year I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend some time at the Zone with my son Pave. We were both absolutely amazed by the many great things that we saw. I have never seen any other space used so well for baseball training. The equipment is top notch and is set up for maximum functionality. Most impressive was the coaching staff. Rick has taught his staff to teach with his high level of dedication, passion, knowledge and style, the same style that brought alot of championships to our city and country.

The parents that I spoke with had no problem driving their kids from different parts of Toronto, just to be at Zone because they said that "our kids are better players after they spend time in Zone".

My son and I thank everybody at the Zone for treating us in a very special way. We learned a lot and bring home to our country a better understanding of the game. After our 18 hour trip home, the first thing Pave wanted to do is go to the field and practice.
