About SST Programs
As you know, I am a firm believer that a weight is a weight, but it is the program that makes the difference! SST uses personalized programs and customized nutritional protocols to achieve quick and outstanding results!
SST uses a four step approach in the development of our athletes - Personalized Nutrition Protocols, Lean Muscle Development, Energy System Training and Flexibility. This 4 step model continues to be very successful in providing results in the fastest time possible.
SST athletes' functional work consists of farmer's walk, sledgehammer work, sled dragging, car pushing, log lifting and a series of other unorthodox training methods. This is FUNCTIONAL - our athletes get very lean and strong, and work the proper energy system during each workout. Translation - we employ fun, time efficient techniques to get our athletes leaner than ever before.
SST's systematic approach and individualized strength training program is unparalleled since the main thing we produce is RESULTS! Over the past twelve years SST athletes have consistently proven themselves to be dedicated to training; the 2 main reasons are the outstanding experience they have in our atmosphere, and the RESULTS they achieve. They are not only strong in the weight room, but more importantly, they demonstrate an added edge in their sport with higher energy levels, and a desire to succeed.
SST's Performance Coaches are all certified and fully insured. They have worked in the fitness and nutrition field with many athletes and teams. All of SST coaches intern for 90 hours in our facility before they start training any of the athletes. Our coaches are always updating their knowledge in the field and are teaching other strength coaches around the world many of SST's proven techniques in seminar formats.
Equipped with this knowledge and an outstanding team, SST is considered to be the speed experts in the performance training industry. SST has been recognized as a top 15 SPEED TRAINING FACILITY IN NORTH AMERICA AND THE ONLY ONE IN CANADA! In addition, SST has consulted with the Cincinnati Bengals and is the OFFICIAL STRENGTH COACH OF THE TORONTO ARGONAUTS.
SST coaches are always attending continuing education courses and increasing their knowledge. All coaches are required to research for 10 hours per week on their own time and write comprehensive training articles for our athletes. Our coaches have a passion in developing individuals with motivation to be BETTER!
